David Hughes is a
professionally qualified freelance photographer with more
than fifteen years experience specialising in portrait,
wedding photography and videography.
As well as a Degree in Art History David also holds a higher
level City and Guilds qualification in professional
photography and is a part time photography and computer
teacher.
David Hughes Photography and Video is
based in Romford Essex and work within East London and
Essex, although we will travel to other
locations.
We are regularly commissioned by local
authorities, educational institutions, commercial and
industrial organisations although the majority of our work
is social photography, wedding photography and wedding
videography.
David has a number of qualified and experienced
photographers and videographers who work regularly with him
covering weddings when a second photographer or videographer
is required. Our photographers and videographers may also
cover some weddings at Langtons House and other venues.

Premier &
Prestige Wedding Services
Premier and Prestige Wedding
photography services include traditional "posed" photographs
of groups, families and photographs of the Bride and Groom
although some reportage or candid style photographs are
taken as the opportunities arise.
Our Premier Wedding Service are designed for Weddings at
Langtons House in Hornchurch Essex and include photography,
a full set of proofs for the Bride and Groom to keep and a
choice of 20 photographs at 8" x 6" chosen from the
proofs.
The basic wedding service excludes an album, leaving you
free to mount the photographs in your own album, but we can
supply your finished photographs in a quality album from
Spicer Hallfield.
We can attend other Register Offices, Licenced Venues or
Churches in the area.
Our Prestige Wedding Service includes photographic coverage
from the start of the wedding ceremony, the photo-call and
the start of the reception for posed photographs of the
Bride and Groom with the wedding cake, champagne toast and
detail of the table layouts, flowers and favours.
This service also includes informal and reportage
photographs as the opportunities arise.
A full set of proofs for the Bride and Groom to keep are
supplied and a choice of 30 photographs at 10" x 8" can be
chosen from the proofs.
The basic wedding service excludes an album, leaving you
free to mount the photographs in your own album, but we can
supply your finished photographs in a quality album from
Spicer Hallfield.
Reportage
Wedding Services
Black and
white (or colour) reportage photography is available as an
addition to any of the main wedding photography services
listed. A second photographer attends to concentrate solely
on capturing those informal activities, guests and the finer
details of your wedding, while the main photographer
arranges group and formal photographs. The photographs are
supplied as proofs from which you choose finished pictures,
which are printed to 7” x 5”, mounted in white
archival sleeves and presented in a luxury portfolio. The
reportage portfolio is a perfect compliment to your main
wedding album offering a second album with an alternative
perspective of your day. The photographs from your reportage
coverage can be incorporated in your main wedding album.

Contemporary
Wedding Service
Starting at the Brides
house and concluding at the start of the reception. Includes
a range of group, family and individual photographs of the
Bride and Groom as well as some reportage photographs if
required. A minimum of 160 photographs are taken and
these are presented as proofs for you to keep.
You can select 46 prints in colour or b&w which
are mounted on gold or silver edged leaves with metal
corners and a choice of overlay colours presented in a
luxury album with a personalised title page.
Lifestyle Wedding
Services
Our
Lifestyle Wedding Service
offer a mix of formal and reportage photography.
Photographic coverage starts at the Brides home or place of
departure and includes formal and informal photographs of
the preparations, the wedding ceremony, photo - call and the
start of the reception for posed photographs of the Bride
and Groom with the wedding cake, champagne toast and detail
of the table layouts, flowers and favours.
Throughout the day a selection of candid and informal
photographs are taken to complement the formal
photographs.
Photographs are supplied as proofs for
the Bride and Groom to keep.
The photographs you choose from your proofs are creatively
arranged using picture compositing software and printed on
photographic paper for inclusion in your A4 Lifestyle book
bound luxury album.
Our Lifestyle
Royale Wedding Service includes
the attendance of two photographers.
One photographer concentrating mainly on the formal
photography and the other photographer capturing those
informal activities, guests and the finer details of your
wedding. Coverage commences at the brides home or place of
departure and concludes at the start of the reception
for posed photographs of the Bride
and Groom with the wedding cake, champagne toast and detail
of the table layouts, flowers and favours.
Photographs are supplied as proofs for the Bride and Groom
to keep.
The photographs you choose from
your proofs are creatively arranged using picture
compositing software and printed on photographic paper to
13.5" x 11.5" prints and mounted in your 16" x 13" Lifestyle

Storybook Wedding
Services
Our Storybook Wedding Service includes two
photographers in attendance, one photographer concentrating
mainly on the formal photography and the other capturing
those informal activities, guests and the finer details of
your wedding. Coverage starts at
the Brides home or place of departure and includes formal
and informal photographs of the preparations, the wedding
ceremony, photo-call, the start of the reception for posed
photographs of the Bride and Groom with the wedding cake,
champagne toast and detail of the table layouts, flowers and
favours and includes the speeches and coverage up to the
first dance.
Wedding
Video
We use modern broadcast quality digital video cameras, along
with video lights when needed, professional tripods and
radio microphones. All our productions are edited on
computer based Non Linear Editing suites using either
Premiere or Edition software.
Our Wedding Videos are none intrusive and coverage is of a
documentary style and sympathetic to the occaision.
Our Standard and
Deluxe Wedding Video Service
includes all the necessary copyright licences for videoing
in churches, licened venues and register offices and alows
you to choose the music for your video. Coverage starts from
the Brides home or other place of departure and concludes
shortly after the first dance.
Our Langtons
Wedding Service and Photo-Call video
service includes coverage from approximately half an hour
before the service covering the arrival of guests, the Groom
and Best Man, the arrival of the Bride, the service and
photo-call and concludes when the bride and groom leave for
their reception. Titles are added to the front of the video
along with wedding music at the start, during parts of the
photo-call and at the end. We can add music of your choice
for a small additional cost to cover copyright licences.

Christenings
We have offer a range of Christening, Baptism and First
Communion photography and video services with coverage for
which includes photography and on an attendance basis to
services that include finished personalised albums.
Christening videos are fully edited and prsented as DVD's in
personalised cases.
Celebrations
Throughout the year we photograph and video
anniversaries, parties and other special occasions, Dinner
Dances, Ladies nights, Proms, Balls and Leavers dances.
For Dinner Dances and similar occasions we can often supply
the photographs on the same evening.
We can use backdrops in a range of colours or photograph
using suitable locations within the venue using our portable
studio lighting equipment.
Portraits
We offer a complete portrait service in the comfort of
your own home, in your garden or at a nearby location
We use portable studio flash lighting and various backdrops
if required.

& Groups
We photograph at play groups,
schools, nurseries and preschools. Cubs, brownies, cadets,
dance schools and theatre groups and regularly attend play
groups, nurseries, clubs and other groups for
photographs.
Video
